Boston Pride 2018

Boston, MA

Queer comedian Hanna Gadsby, on her early days of trying to fit in with such a colorful crowd hilariously remarked, “Where do the quiet gays go? My favorite sound in the whole world is the sound of a teacup finding its place on a saucer.” My introduction to my people came by way of college basketball, gay clubs and eventually Boston pride & Provincetown. There were few other spaces where I could be me. Among my people, I can be all of me. One will never find more courage, camaraderie, comedy, compassion and celebration in any month besides June, Pride Month. You’ll never see more star tattoos, next level hairstyles, racial diversity & range in age in one space. And when 2 people haven’t seen each other since last year’s pride—watch out! LIFE GIVING.
